Account Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Generates new business through outside sales activities including referrals, solutions selling, networking events, cold calls, prospecting, telemarketing, territory planning and client relationship building.
  • Coordinates recruiting activities with recruiters including screening, orientation, and placement of candidates.
  • Conducts client visits to build trust and to learn more about client’s business and talent acquisition strategy.
  • Identifies and qualifies new job orders weekly.
  • Presents candidates to hiring managers and negotiates rates.
  • Attends interviews between clients and candidates as much as possible.
  • Assists with recruiting as needed to meet peak demand.
  • Quickly resolves customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction on a daily basis. Always works to find a win/win for all situations.

Requirements:

  • BA / BS Degree and 3+ years of professional sales experience; preferably in technology consulting, staff augmentation, talent acquisition, or related industry.
  • Technology related sales experience preferred. Preferably in Applications Development, Database Design, Business Intelligence, ERP or CRM.
  • Familiar with technologies such as; .NET, C#, Java, J2EE, SAP, Oracle, SQL Server, Cognos, SAS, Informatica, Hyperion.
  • Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens effectively and seeks clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings.
  • Sets and achieves challenging goals; Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles; Measures self against standard of excellence; Takes calculated risks to accomplish goals.
